UCD Workshops

This two-day workshop leverages hands-on exercises, and is taught by experts in industry.

Attendees also learn how these UCD methods fit within the standard development cycle, and receive tools and pointers that support these methods. Attendees receive a workbook with helpful information that can serve as a reference and information guide for projects after this workshop.

Attendees learn that User-Focused design is difficult, and requires significant training. Just as it takes years to gain the skills to be a developer or Marketing manager, so it takes years to become a good UI designer. Having said this, by taking this workshop, every member of the product team contributes to and aligns around a product design strategy, and understand the value of UX team activities. Teams who take the workshop regularly call on the UX team for assistance and include the UX team by default in product strategy discussions.
