Globalizing ApplicationsThe goal of any engineering team is to implement features rapidly. When these teams are required to implement not only their technology features, but also accessibility requirements, branding requirements, and Globalization requirements, time to full feature launch can take years. In fact, it is common for product teams to need several releases to achieve accessibility, internationalization and localization, and adhere to UX Standards. When development teams have leveraged component libraries developed by Jim’s teams, they have reached full feature launch much more rapidly. Of course, UX component libraries ensure rapid implementation of standards-compliant applications. They also help ensure that teams have globalized and accessible code at the same time. The upshot? Rapidly localized code and other assets that promotes entry into emerging markets, and therefore greater revenue. Once these components have been implemented, and applications translated, corporate translation memory facilitates rapid translation of documentation, collateral, ordering tools, and Customer Care Web content.
